Router settings for fiber optic access

• Enable encryption (WPA3 or WPA2) for security.

• Check for router and ONT firmware updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and compatibility with fiber speeds .

Step 7: Optimize Performance

• Place the router in a central location for better Wi-Fi coverage.
• Use wired connections for devices requiring high speed or low latency, such as gaming consoles or workstations.
• Consider upgrading to Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 routers to fully leverage fiber speeds .
