Fire-resistant galvanized steel cable trays are made of steel

Galvanized Steel Properties

  • Aluminum trays: Aluminum has a low melting point and conducts heat efficiently, making it unsuitable for fire-sensitive environments .
  • FRP/GRP trays: Fiberglass-reinforced plastic trays can be designed with fire-resistant properties, but their suitability depends on the specific fire rating and coating applied .

Fire-Rated Tray Solutions

Modern fire-rated cable trays often combine premium materials such as stainless steel, galvanized steel, or fiberglass with specialized fire-resistant coatings.
