Huawei switches support 1G fiber connections via SFP (1000BASE-X) ports using compatible SFP modules for single-mode or multimode fiber.

1G Fiber Port Overview

Configuration Considerations

• Default speed: 1 Gbit/s for 1000BASE-X ports. To upgrade to 10 Gbit/s, a license is required, and the assign port-type xge command must be applied, followed by a device restart .
