How to configure the aggregation switch to the access switch

Access aggregation switches consolidate access layer traffic, provide default gateway services, and require careful configuration of management, redundancy, and link aggregation.

Management Network Setup

Begin by configuring the management network to allow the aggregation switch to communicate with the core and controller. Assign a management VLAN and configure the core switch as the management subnet gateway. Enable management VLAN auto-negotiation so that aggregation and access switches can come online in plug-and-play mode.
